Minter Dialogue with Minette Norman
Minette Norman is an inclusive leadership consultant and speaker, who spent the first thirty years of her professional career in the software industry. In her consulting business, Minette focuses on developing transformational leaders who create inclusive working environments with a foundation of psychological safety. In this conversation, we discuss her new book, coauthored with Karolin Helbig, “The Psychological Safety Playbook, Lead More Powerfully by Being More Human” (from PageTwo), the quality and application of courage at work, the importance of self-awareness, empathy and curiosity, setting of boundaries, the inclusion booster, the use of humour and the no interruption rule.

Music credit: The jingle at the beginning of the show is courtesy of my friend, Pierre Journel, author of the Guitar Channel. And, the new sign-off music is “A Convinced Man,” a song I co-wrote and recorded with Stephanie Singer back in the late 1980s (please excuse the quality of the sound!).
