Minter Dialogue with Jon Shanahan

Jon Shanahan is cofounder, President and CEO of Businessolver, an HR benefits administration solution that combines tech and service. Founded in 1998 with Sean McMurray, the organization is an industry leader and, under the helm of Jon Shanahan, has created a strong and healthy culture that has enabled strong growth. In this conversation, we discuss how he has steered and crafted the Businessolver Way, the challenges of sustaining a culture via remote work, and how to maintain engagement. We also discuss their annual State of Workplace Empathy and much more.

Please send me your questions — as an audio file if you’d like — to nminterdial@gmail.com. Otherwise, below, you’ll find the show notes and, of course, you are invited to comment. If you liked the podcast, please take a moment to rate it here.

Music credit: The jingle at the beginning of the show is courtesy of my friend, Pierre Journel, author of the Guitar Channel. And, the new sign-off music is “A Convinced Man,” a song I co-wrote and recorded with Stephanie Singer back in the late 1980s (please excuse the quality of the sound!).
