I spotted this beautiful white cat clambering along on the awning of this restaurant in the 8th arrondissement. Is it lucky to see an all-white cat? It’s sometimes considered BAD luck in Europe… but good luck in the US. And, even in the US, there are contradicting superstitions. See here for an unauthorized roundup! (There are a couple of fun comments on Yahoo Answers). So, taking a mostly North American stance and in an effort of collaboration, I wish good luck to anyone picking up this post!
