In a noisy world, where we are overwhelmed with content, a terrible sense of disconnection with a consequential amount of mental health issues, a sense of not being heard or feeling unvalued in the face of a severe lack of enough ears to listen, the tendency and the temptation is to scream ever louder. With a surfeit of content to consume, how does one cut through. Will a return to a more reserved posture, less narcissism and more discretion result in better penetration? In the aftermath of watching the masterfully understated treatment in the Daniel Kokotaljo film, Apostasy, I feel compelled to encourage more such reserve.
