Minter Dial is a professional speaker, author and elevator, specialized in leadership, branding and transformation. An agent of change, he’s a three-time entrepreneur, who has exercised twelve different métiers and moved country fifteen times. Minter’s core career stint of 16 years was spent as a top executive at L’Oréal, member of the worldwide Executive Committee for the Professional Products Division. He’s author of the award-winning WWII story, The Last Ring Home (documentary film and book, 2016) as well as six other business books, three of which won prizes, Futureproof (2017), You Lead, How being yourself makes you a better leader (2021) that won the Business Book Awards 2022, and Heartificial Empathy, Putting Heart into Business and Artificial Intelligence, 2nd edition (2023). Long bio for Minter

Minter Dial is a professional speaker, storyteller, author, and consultant, specialized in leadership, branding and transformation. Minter, who prides himself in elegantly elevating the debate, has given over 600 talks and seminars to audiences in five continents, including conferences at SXSW, Twitch, Yext, Cision, Netexplo, and Tencent. He was voted Top 3 out of 150 speakers at the Adobe Summit EMEA three years in a row (2014-2015-2016).

He is the author of four award-winning books, including The Last Ring Home, A POW’s Lasting Legacy of Courage, Love, and Honor in World War II (2016) that was turned into an award-winning documentary film for PBS and History Channel. Other books include; Futureproof, How to get your Business Ready for the Next Disruption (co-written with Caleb Storkey and published by Pearson, 2017), winner of the Business Book Award 2018 in the category of Technology; Heartificial Empathy, Putting Heart into Business and Artificial Intelligence (2nd edition, 2023), which won the Book Excellence Award 2019 in the category of Technology and was finalist for the Business Book Awards 2019; and You Lead, How Being Yourself Makes You A Better Leader (Kogan Page, 2021) that won the Business Book Awards 2022 in the category of Leadership. Among his latest writings, you can subscribe to DIALOGOS, a featured publication on Substack, about fostering more meaningful conversation. His other two books, Empathy that Counts and Meaningful Communication, cowritten with Lena Rantsevich, came out in 2023 and 2024 respectively.

Previously, he enjoyed a 16-year international career at L’Oreal, including being Managing Director Worldwide of Redken, the Canadian subsidiary of the Professional Products Division (PPD) and on the Executive Committee worldwide of the PPD. He also worked at the DLJ investment bank, the Philadelphia Zoo, the NJ State Aquarium and has founded three startups, including a travel agency for entertainers and a high-end handmade leather Gladstone bag maker.

He’s on the board of ECV School and Rythmessence, and was previously NED of LastminuteGroup and SBT-Humans Matter. He’s a renowned blogger and podcaster (in English and French); and he’s passionate about the Grateful Dead, Padel Tennis (check out his Joy of Padel podcast) and languages.

I'm Minter Dial and I serve my clients by elevating the debate and energy, telling powerful stories and connecting people and ideas. My mission to insert more meaningfulness into our lives and at work. I relish being an engaging professional speaker on leadership, transformation and branding. I'm known for being someone who walks the talk and delivers on or above expectations. I'm the author of four award-winning books, including the second edition of my award-winning book, Heartificial Empathy (April 2023, available in English and French), You Lead published by Kogan Page that won the Business Book Award 2022, and Futureproof (FT-Press/Pearson) that won the Business Book Award 2018.
