Minter Dialogue #58
This interview is with Francis Pisani, a truly polyglot esteemed journalist, author and professor from France, who has taught at some of the most established institutions in the world, including Stanford, UC Berkeley, and Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico. In 2011, Francis launched Winch5, a worldwide tour looking at innovation in its different forms. I had the good fortune to meet Francis through our collaboration at Netexplo, the observatory of new technologies with which I’ve been associated since leaving L’Oreal. In this interview, we discuss some of his lessons learned from his voyage around the world, how innovation is happening in surprising and different ways, and how countries, cities and companies are looking to insert innovation into their DNA.
