Minter Dialogue with Dr Naeema Pasha

Dr Naeema Pasha is Director of Careers and Professional Development at Henley Business School. She’s also Founder of World of Work, an annual conference on the future of work. She was named as one of the IFPC-online Top 50 Worldwide Influencers on AI Ethics in 2020. And, finally, she’s coauthor with Shaheena Janjuha-Jivraj of “Futureproof your career, How to lead and Succeed in A Changing World,” from Bloomsbury Press. In this conversation, we discuss career resilience, pluralistic leadership skills, fitting in versus belonging, the link between science and empathy and much more.

Please send me your questions — as an audio file if you’d like — to nminterdial@gmail.com. Otherwise, below, you’ll find the show notes and, of course, you are invited to comment. If you liked the podcast, please take a moment to rate it here.

Music credit: The jingle at the beginning of the show is courtesy of my friend, Pierre Journel, author of the Guitar Channel. And, the new sign-off music is “A Convinced Man,” a song I co-wrote and recorded with Stephanie Singer back in the late 1980s (please excuse the quality of the sound!).
