There are many things that keep amazing me (and perhaps you, too) on the Web. Google and Facebook are paving new and surprising ways, as in embedding little “surprises” that reward curiosity and surely spark viral discussion. The bonus, in the case of Google Earth, is that the surprise is true original content — divinely taking advantage of the Google Earth application: find the free flight simulator. Meanwhile, Facebook is also getting in on the “easter egg” action. Here again from Mashable, is the story of a little message hidden on Facebook (you have to highlight bottom of the friends’ section to read: Only the craftiest of quails survive hunting season). It seems like the hunt is on, and surely the hunting bug will spread.
